Spread the word! The Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services has launched a COVID Care Line to provide emotional support. The Care Line can be reached at 1-800-720-9616. Behavioral health professionals are available 8 a.m.-8 p.m. every day to offer confidential support. After 8 p.m. calls will forward to the National Suicide Prevention Helpline so that help is available 24 hours a day. A great pdf to share/post is here.

Grant Assisted UC Student Assistance in Response to COVID-19
Through UC’s Service Learning Co-op program, students can gain real-world experience and earn a paycheck while supporting community nonprofits. (*Wage assistance available to qualifying nonprofits.) Through this program, nonprofit employers receive:
- High quality student work
- Competitive and caring applicant pools
- Students compensated at no cost to your organization, if qualified
- Professional development training for students
Requirements for nonprofit participation:
- A meaningful work experience with the opportunity to develop transferable skills
- A dedicated supervisor willing to provide evaluative feedback
- An approved employer application

Duke Energy Grant Applications due April 30
Duke Energy Workforce Development and Training Grant applications are due on April 30. These grants support workforce development programs that address the most pressing skills gaps in local communities. Programs addressing skills gaps; programs cultivating the energy-sector’s future workforce; and programs serving under-represented, low-income or diverse audiences, including women and minorities, will be given preference in this grant cycle.
