June 15 TQL Stadium “Unplug and Play” FREE Toy Distribution — Channel 12

Thanks to reporter Clancy Burke and Channel 12 for spending the morning working with OneSource Center, FC Cincinnati Foundation and Activities Beyond the Classroom to spread the word about today’s “Unplug and Play” FREE toy distribution at TQL Stadium, 3:30 – 6 p.m. Follow signage to the plaza level for the socially distanced FREE toy giveaway. Toys in this distribution are appropriate for children age 13 and under!  

The FREE toy events are being coordinated regionally by OneSource Center, and are nationally sponsored by Toys for Tots and Good360.    More information is available at the OneSource Center website: OneSourceCenter.org/Toys  (Upcoming free toy giveaways will occur:  June 30 — Eastern Cincinnati  and July 29 — Avondale. )

OneSource Center is coordinating a region-wide FREE toy distribution for children is through the months of May, June and July with the help of corporate sponsors, foundations and nonprofits. The event “Unplug and Play” is nationally sponsored by Toys for Tots and Good360 and is open to all children in the Cincinnati region. Toys are appropriate for kids age 10 and under. Welcome House Prevention Program Aids Those in Need

Welcome House of Northern Kentucky Prevention Services assists households at imminent risk of becoming homeless, serving eight counties, including Boone, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Owen and Pendleton. Services include financial assistance and follow-up services to assist households with maintaining their housing. If you have a client staying with friends or relatives that cannot continue to stay there; are paying for their own hotel/motel without financial assistance from a social service agency, or are finding themselves in financial hardship with rent or utilities — help is available. There is currently a waiting list for this program, but openings are available as people move to self sufficiency, so call to be put on the list! Hours: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 9-noon and 2-4, Wednesdays 2-4 and Fridays 9-noon.  Program information is here.
