CINCINNATI, Ohio (August 27, 2018) – Greater Cincinnati nonprofits will now have access to a wider range of support, due to the re-branding of ReSource Cincy (ReSource) into OneSource Center for Nonprofit Excellence (OneSource Center.) OneSource Center provides access to a full range of services, products and connections that nonprofits need to thrive and create greater impact, expanding service offerings from the previous organization. Also added is a new focus on collaborating partners to present a holistic approach to supporting the nonprofit community. (Collaborating partners include Cincinnati Tool Bank, United Way, ProBono Partners of Ohio, Leadership Council, and JVS Career Services.) One Source Center will be providing coaching, consulting, training & seminars, online resources, a YP mentoring program facility, household and maintenance goods and a furniture bank, as well as event décor, community calendar, and much more.
“We believe that high-performing nonprofits are vital to a thriving Greater Cincinnati Community,” said Christie Brown, CEO of OneSource Center. “We know that nonprofit work is hard, which is why it was important to provide a central place – a resource center – to support all this work.”
Although there are a handful of similar centers in the U.S., such as Colorado Collaborative in Denver, CO, and the Impact Foundry in Sacramento, CA, currently, OneSource Center is the only of its kind in Greater Cincinnati.
“We live in a great and generous community, but it’s also a city with great needs: childhood poverty, the opioid crisis, homelessness, mental health issues and racism, to name a few – not everyone in our community is thriving,” said Brown. “One Source Center strives to support local nonprofits that are boldly addressing these issues, so that all of Greater Cincinnati is able to prosper.”
