The purpose of the Elsa Heisel Sule Foundation is to make grants to qualified nonprofit organizations that administer programs and projects within Elsa’s guidelines of interest in the tri-state areas of Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana. These programs should fall within the focus areas of Education, Health and Wellness, Children’s Programming, Arts & Cultural Vibrancy, Civic, environment, community vibrancy, and Animal Welfare.
Any 501(c)(3) organization may apply through our open, focus-area-based process—no prior approval is required. Applicants should select the focus area that best fits the category of your program. You may apply once per calendar year.

February 15th LOI Deadline- (A) Education (all ages) or (B) Animal Welfare
May 15th LOI Deadline- (A) Children’s Programing or (B) Arts and Cultural vibrancy
August 15th LOI Deadline- (A) Health and Wellness & (B) Civic, environment, and Community Vibrancy
