New Housing Ohio Clients Sleep Better Through OneSource Center Offerings

OneSource Center was able to improve sleep conditions recently for 128 individuals through nine agencies with the dispersal of new, high-quality Tempur-Pedic twin mattresses.  The mattresses were made available for a great savings through OneSource Center’s redistribution agreement with Good360, a global leader working with socially responsible companies to keep overstocked, returned and seasonal products out of landfills.  The added human benefit of these donations is that these items find grateful homes in the hands of people in need, often at great savings.

New Housing Ohio, based in Cincinnati, was one of the organizations that acquired numerous mattresses to be utilized in their program.  The organization develops affordable and supportive housing for people in need, and helps get people back on their feet if they are homeless or addicted and helps them remain stable if they are living with mental illness or developmental disabilities.

“These incredible mattresses were so well received by our clients who would not normally have access to such beautiful sleeping arrangements, said Dreama Contner, Group Care Manager with New Housing Ohio.  “We have purchased numerous items through OneSource Center for our facilities, and are thankful to the organizations that donate for nonprofit use.  These mattresses will make a great impact in our community.”

OneSource Center’s Shoppers Club offers nonprofits a full range of donated office furniture and retail items for wonderful cost savings – helping nonprofits stretch their budgets to serve more people in need.  Sign-up for weekly product emails to see the types of items that are available.
