Hamilton County R3Source Grants

Hamilton County R3Source offers multiple grants ranging from easy, non-competitive grants to a larger, competitive grant available for communities, schools, non-profit organizations, and businesses.  

  1. R3Source Infrastructure Grant
  2. Waste Reduction Innovation Grant
  3. Greater Cincinnati Smart Kitchen Initiative
  4. Residential Recycling Incentive (RRI)
  • Competitive grant with proposals due February 15, 2022 
  • $10,000 – $30,000 available for funding 
  • 25% match required – non-profit match may be “in kind” 
  • 100% of grant funds released once grant contract signed by all parties (likely June or July, 2022) Any unused grant funds will need to be returned. 
  • 24 months to complete the project
