Annie Shibata, PhD, is an expert coach, educator and facilitator, skilled at creating transformative learning experiences in universities, corporations and non-profits. She has worked with global clients for many years as cross-cultural advisor, communication trainer, executive coach, and consultant. She’s served as a Communication professor in several universities, most recently at Miami University teaching Farmer School of Business students. Her leadership roles include founding a successful English language and culture school in Japan, serving as officer/board member for several non-profits, and currently, as owner of Growth Mindset Leadership and Communication Coaching (annieshibata.com).

Annie is passionate about promoting peace and understanding in the world by helping people to expand their perspectives, create growth mindsets, and create stronger relationships by leading and communicating from the heart.
