Hamilton County Commissioners are partnering with United Way of Greater Cincinnati (UWGC) to expand affordable broadband internet access to families in the County. Commissioners are investing $1.5 million in American Rescue Plan Act resources toward the program that will be administered by the UWGC.

Nonprofit organizations and local governments in Hamilton County, Ohio, are eligible to apply for funds. The minimum grant request is $10,000 and the maximum is $200,000. Organizations can apply for funding to install public Wi-Fi, thereby expanding infrastructure to County residents and providing affordable access to broadband internet.
