Volunteers

Great volunteers are the “secret sauce” behind OneSource Center’s ability to help hundreds of nonprofits achieve transformational change in their operations. Our many offerings make use of the myriad skill sets our volunteers possess:

  • Reflecting the diversity of our community, volunteers bring decades of executive leadership experience to projects including strategic planning, leadership development, business improvement, board functioning, coaching, talent management pandemic rebooting and more.
  • Volunteer facilitators and work-performance coaches introduce and reinforce best management practices at nonprofits. Volunteer trainers also offer targeted one-time workshops on organizational improvement. (See Training tab for more information.)
  • Warehouse treasure hunters and merchandise stockers unload, sort, and shelve products that are then sold to nonprofits for cents on the dollar. Volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds, including stay-at-home parents, remote employees, college students and retirees.
  • Fund development volunteers assist with fundraising and special activities. These fundraising events are made even more informational, fun and profitable through volunteer teams that make party planning a “piece of cake.”
