OneSource Center Partners on 2019 Community Makeover

OneSource Center News

Partnering with others to make our community stronger is an integral aspect of OneSource Center’s mission. The August 1, 2019 dedication of the Frank Robinson Field at Ross Park and the renovation of the St. Bernard City Hall/Community Center were two highlights of the 2019 Reds Community Fund’s Community Makeover project – a partnership between corporate and nonprofit sponsors and OneSource Center. The transformation of the field and Community Center took place with expert guidance from project partners and with the help of hundreds of community volunteers. The investments in the St. Bernard project will provide significant and sustainable impact in the long-term development of the community and its residents.

Through the generous donations of corporate donors to OneSource Center, items were available for utilization in the Frank Robinson Field’s training room and concession stand and at the St. Bernard City Hall/Community Center. OneSource Center staff delivered the items and volunteers from Children’s Hospital (in addition to participating partners, Pepper Construction and St. Bernard staff ) updated the space with fresh paint in addition to adding all new ceiling tiles. The updated space will accommodate after-school programming and expanded community use. St. Bernard youth created art focusing on community landmarks that are displayed on the center’s walls. OneSource Center is proud to partner on such impactful community projects with those willing to roll up their sleeves and make a difference in our region!
