An opportunity for grant funds is available through The Community Innovation Grants program for organizations with programs that provide access to fresh produce to students outside the school day (after school, during breaks, over weekends, etc.) The grant program is sponsored by the United Fresh Start Foundation, one of the two major trade associations in the fresh produce industry.
