It takes a tremendous amount of energy, planning and teamwork from volunteers and staff to create a successful event. This year’s National Philanthropy Day is being held November 5 at 11:30 a.m. The virtual event includes celebrating award winners, post-event networking, and an inspiring presentation by Alandis Powell, the woman behind the Black Lives Matter Mural in downtown Cincinnati. K-12 educators working to build food literacy education into their curriculums are invited to attend the Greater Cincinnati Regional Food Policy Council’s (an initiative of Green Umbrella) “Farm to School Educators Workshop” on Saturday, September 19th 8:30AM – 12:30PM. Speakers will address both in person and virtual resources. This is a free virtual event for teachers. Certificates will be provided for continuing education credits. More information here.
