Elsa Sule Foundation Letters of Intent due Dec. 1

Letters of Intent for the Elsa Sule Foundation are due December 1. The purpose of the Foundation is to provide grants to nonprofit organizations within the areas of education and scholarships, health wellness and scientific research, welfare of children, sports, fine and performing arts, animal welfare and environmental and community stewardship in the Greater Cincinnati Tri-state area.

Need Project Volunteers for Martin Luther King Day?

Cincinnati Cares is asking nonprofits to submit group volunteer activities for a city-wide day of service in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on January 20, 2020. Please submit requests to Cincinnati Cares by November 22nd at this link.

Grant Aimed at Healthy Eating

An opportunity for grant funds is available through The Community Innovation Grants program for organizations with programs that provide access to fresh produce to students outside the school day (after school, during breaks, over weekends, etc.) The grant program is sponsored by the United Fresh Start Foundation, one of the two major trade associations in the fresh produce industry. Camp Joy — Nov. 18 Team-Building and Leadership Development

Camp Joy is hosting an event on November 18 designed specifically for nonprofit and municipal organizations focused on team-building and leadership development. The one-day program will help attendees focus on their own awareness, effective communication and team-based support. Professional facilitators will guide program participants through sequenced experiences
designed to build awareness of self and provide a day of respite and mindfulness in a natural setting. Christy Burch, Executive Director, Women’s Crisis Center, will kick-off the day with a keynote address. (more…)

Toys for Needy Kids Available Nov. 19

OneSource Center’s warehouse has a very large volume of toys and other items ready to supply your holiday gift shop needs! A wide array of items including scooters, toddler and preschool toys, sports, art, games and more! Santa’s elves are working to sort the donations to have on display beginning the week of November 18. OneSource Center Warehouse Club members are able to purchase items Monday – Friday. Non-members are able to shop the warehouse on Nonprofit Shopping Day, this month on Wednesday, November 20. (Non-members please bring your 501c3 paperwork, and items must be purchased with the organization’s credit card or check.)

Important Reminder: All items available in our warehouse cannot be resold, but instead must be given to people in need at no charge.
